Input curves (expo) basic version
Input curves are presently in the form of simple between power 1 and power 2. I may increase from power 2 to power 3, but I want to get some more complexity in the curve and didn't really think this one fully. thinking now I should have just put it higher from the beginning, but I was worried about things like getting the graphs to work. I plan to learn more about how Quadcopter rates work, with the complex s-shaped expo curve rather than a simple bowl. Based on the physical characteristics of a gamepad joystick, I feel that a simple between 1 and 2 expo allows the player to gain a bit of sensitivity for docking, without gaining too much throw to have the midrange/high end. Since I'm still learning,, I left it how it was until I can increase the complexity. THe curves are accessible for each shiptype individually, from the pause menu. (so for the big slow ships, the player can have a custom no-expo or minimal, while they can have more significant expo for the lighter dartier ships). Expo has a graph visualizer in the pause menu, and can be toggled on and off,, if the player is interested in having it off for high velocity action, and turning it on only for precision while docking (probably the most likely example).
