experimental tunnel sections
several new objects since my last devlog.
Placeable "tunnel sections" experiment is underway! There are 5 basic tunnel section pieces, and then the player can select from them to arrange tunnels to fly down. These tunnels do not checkpoint, but are large enough for most hoops,, and large hoops can be used to make a checkpoint field. There is the unfortunate side effect of the placeable object fields that there is a section of each tunnel piece that if you try to connect to a hoop or delete a hoop while in that spot, the tunnel section will also connect/delete. However, hoops CAN still be placed in these locations so as long as the player is certain about their placement extra labor can be avoided.
also since last devlog is a reorganization of the menus. It is still just a default and rough menu system. There are some more bits of text sprinkled around to try and help orient new players, although a walkthrough is unlikely, as I intend to rely on other media to provide walkthrough style content, and I hope that the in-game documentation is enough to set players learning the controls.
