version1-1
Known issue/can't fix : in the ISS interior scenes,, the velocity indicator doesn't point correctly. seems hard to fix. It works everywhere else in my last test. :::::: EDIT :::::: well,, I just kept deleting objects that were unrelated and either pasting them back in from somewhere else or having to do a bit of reassigning of variables until eventually one of them resulted in the problem going away. Honestly if I had paranoia I would say it's more to do with me spending an amount of time in front of some darkweb observer than anything that could have been genuinely wrong in the editor software. no-one has paranoia about hackers though so it must have been a bit that got flipped because of computers are caraaazy! (going with it was a malicious intrusion/hack)
UPDATE!! They didn't slice my pizza, so I'm having to rip it into bits... but,, it's one of their best I've had yet!
in game:: in the pause menu, the player can now custom configure the thrust and rotation values for each setting. there are 3 vehicle types , ,each accessible only from levels that the particular vehicle is used. So,, in a level with the rockhopper, the pause menu has a rockhopper power settings button. If the player resets a set to default,, it will actually change without hitting save, but won't reflect until the player either toggles to that setting again,, OR if they hit save in the power menu.
halfrotation now has 3 "positions' it toggles through,, normal, half, and double rotation. So regardless of the setting it will double/half/leave along the rotational force. (allowing for the player to increase power or decrease it if connected to a weight or docking etc.)
small detail: the racemeshes are now "unlit" which means they are unaffected by area lighting, so no longer have reflections, and no longer change brightness depending on their angle. I really wanted to keep the reflections, but no matter how I lit the space,, the light would "cancel" so that there was always about 1/4 of all angles that the meshes were almost invisible, particularly from a distance. (just like glass).
