Save System update
The save system will now only list and load saves created in the specific scene the player is in. All saving and loading is done from the pause menu from within a scene. There are instructions in the game menu on how to move your saves to the new folder created by this save system if you lost saves as a result of the update.
I don't know how to make nice collisions with a "skinned mesh renderer" , so some objects now have rudimentary box colliders so that they still perform as obstacles. The astronauts and buggy are the only two presently that work this way. Any other objects that the player flies through are a missing collider (my fault).
Included in the place-able objects are a pack of FPV racing gates and posts, to make for FPV racing oriented imagery. I plan to include more of this, however the number of placeable objects is growing, perhaps I will need to make the player first toggle through sets with one button, and then toggling through the set with another button. I will leave it alone for now, where the player is left pressing a button 50 times in a row to find their desired placeable object.
It is still necessary to delete and replace objects if the player wishes to relocate them slightly, which can mean a lot of toggling through placeable objects, so I would like to figure out how to make it so that the player can connect to placeable objects and tow them around, so that once placed, it is not necessary to toggle to that item again to adjust its position. Also, it will be easier to see where the object needs to go if it can be there while the player is moving to the right place. So far I don't have the knowledge...
